I’m an Artist turned Tech Artist turned Content Tools and Pipeline Programmer. My professional journey has taken me from nascent, UGC-driven virtual worlds to highly-curated AA and AAA games. Since I was a young child, I have been captivated by the fusion of visual art and technology. The NES, SNES, N64, PC, and arcade games of my youth and milestone CGI films like The Last Starfighter and Jurassic Park left quite an impression on me (One that I happily have yet to shake). I am deeply passionate about content tools. Although the tools development process is itself exceedingly fun and rewarding, the heart of my drive for tools is fueled by the frequent opportunities supplied by the craft to positively impact the effectiveness, and, more importantly, the quality of life of my teammates. I enjoy keeping up with CPU and GPU hardware news (and spicy rumors), playing lengthy, old games excruciatingly slowly, watching low-brow action/adventure flicks, spending far too little time in the natures, and low-key hanging out with the family.
